Radius Activ is an initiative that I came up with and that we developed within a collective of friends from the KISD (Köln International School of Design) in the summer of 2020.
I got inspired from festive outfits from other times and cultures to think of a way to continue partying within the context of the pandemic. The backbone of my research came to show that masks and voluminous gowns are part of many festive traditions among the world.
Using recycled materials and a structure made from plastic pipes, each of us came up with a different costume and character, envisioning a fun way to keep hope for the future of parties.
Our costumes were presented at the Performance Garden edition of 2021.
